Last week, I wrote about my thoughts on the Adidas “Reverse Retro” Jerseys, and since then we’ve gotten good, in-person looks at almost all of them.

Naturally, my opinions have changed after they’ve sunk in a bit. Here are my thoughts.

These are ones that I stand by original opinion on.

S-Tier:

Moving Up

Calgary (C -> A)

I was skeptical about this one. Yea, it’s basically a Blasty redux, but it’s an absolute beaut in person.

LA Kings (B -> A)

The Kings jersey pops in real life. It’s great…I just want the crown dammit.

New York Rangers (D -> B)

The model in the presser hid the red stripe on the collar. It's something so small that makes such a huge difference, and takes it from "oh it's blue" to "that's real clean."

Nashville (D -> B)

I had my doubts about Nashville, but they did a great job, especially after seeing real shots of it.

Philadelphia (F -> C)

I can’t give Philly more than a “C” because of how jank the lettering kit is. The press photos didn’t show how dark the orange was, and it’s one that has definitely grown on me.

Washington (A -> S)

I didn’t want to love this one as much as I do. It’s fucking fire. 100%. It’s a sin to not have it in the S-Class.

Moving Down

Boston (B -> C)

I don’t know. It just doesn’t do anything for me. It’s blander in person than in the press shots, and Adidas has been rife with quality issues on these.

Buffalo (B -> D)

The more I look at this, the more I hate the BUFFALO at the waist. It just hurts so much.

Carolina (A -> B)

I've got Whalers fatigue at this point. Yea, the jersey is nice, and yea. I'm buying two. BUT please...no more Whalers. Thanks.

Minnesota (S -> B)

This jersey makes me want to Eat Fresh.

New Jersey (S -> A)

The spiciness wore off. It's still good.

St. Louis (B -> D)

I really hate how lazy this jersey is. Truly. Do something other than your clown jerseys. Blues have some really nice jerseys in their history, make better choices.

Toronto (D -> F)

It’s somehow worse in person, and the lettering kit is really hard to see.

Vancouver (C -> F)

I can't unsee it as a can of Sprite. It's an eyesore.
